Ms. Carpenter first came to work for First Tryon Securities in 2004 and now oversees our financial and operational areas of the firm. Well-versed in the financial community, her career began at Bank of Boston before moving on to the Atlanta offices of Merrill Lynch and Dean Witter. In 1997, she returned to her native Charlotte serving as a project manager with Bank of America for the next seven years.

A graduate of Duke University with a degree in Economics, Margaret also holds her General Securities Representative License (Series 7), Uniform Securities Agent License (Series 63), Introducing Broker-Dealer Financial and Operations Principal License (Series 28) and General Principals License (Series 24).
